TL;DR
- To fans: they see the profile name, avatar, and the posts you publish. The privacy policy does not list your legal name or email as part of the fan-facing account data.
- To OnlyFans: creators provide full name, address, a government identity document, and a selfie. A provider may also record a short face check. That is not optional if you want to be paid.
- You can publish without showing your face. That is a content choice. It is not anonymity from the platform, from a tax authority OnlyFans is legally required to inform, or from anyone else who appears in the content.
- Anyone else who appears needs their own consent and identity check. The policy says release forms can collect the same identity fields.
- This page does not explain how to use a false identity. That breaks the terms and, depending on the document, the law.
| Audience | Sees | Does not get from the product, unless you hand it over |
| A subscriber |
Profile name, pictures you upload, messages you send. |
The email, phone, street address, and ID image the privacy policy files under creator user data. |
| OnlyFans |
That user data, the payout details, and tax forms where they apply. |
A right for you to opt out of the identity check and still withdraw. |
| A tax authority |
What the law requires OnlyFans to send. The tax policy says that can include identity information and earnings. |
A promise that a stage name is the only name on a 1099. The W-9 is the legal name. |
Face in the content versus face in the check
Nothing in the Creator Center says a post must include your face. Creators do run pages that crop it. The verification selfie is a different image, held for the check, not posted to the feed because you took it. Treat it as data OnlyFans and its provider have, not as a file you can assume stays unseen if the company’s records are ever disclosed under a legal process.
Blocking countries or states on a profile, which the Creator Center offers as a privacy control for creators, limits who can open the page. It does not delete the identity file. How payouts still require a real payout destination is getting paid without a bank account. What a fan can see of you is the mirror of what creators can see of a fan.
Do not send a borrowed ID, a filtered document, or someone else’s selfie. The check exists to stop that. Read the
disclaimer.
Where these figures come from
- OnlyFans privacy policy: creator user-data fields (legal name, address, government ID, selfie) versus account data (profile name, avatar, posts, chats).
- OnlyFans tax policy: possible reporting of identity and earnings to a tax authority; W-9 for US creators.
- Creator Center: creators can block users in selected states or countries. It does not say a face must appear in posts.
