TL;DR
- The charge is from OnlyFans / Fenix International Limited, the UK company that runs the site. It is not a line item in the creator’s name.
- OnlyFans does not publish one official descriptor. Public roundups report ONLYFANS.COM, OF, and Fenix International, depending on the bank.
- Those roundups contradict each other about which string is “the usual one.” We are not crowning a winner from screenshots we did not audit.
- You cannot rename the descriptor in settings. PayPal and Apple Pay are not how the help text says you pay, so a “PayPal *OnlyFans” line is not the documented path.
- A free subscription is not a promise of a blank statement. The help text says no subscription charge is made. It does not promise that a card check never appears.
| Claim | Status |
| The creator’s username is the merchant name. |
Not in the current terms or help text. Older secondary write-ups say a past format looked like “OF*” plus a name. We cannot date that from an OnlyFans page. |
| The line always says ONLYFANS.COM. |
Reported, including with a letter suffix. Not universal in the other roundups. |
| The line says Fenix International. |
Also reported. Fenix International Limited is the real operating company, so a bank that prints the legal name is printing a real party to the charge. |
| A $0.10 verification charge always hits free pages. |
Not in the help text we used. That article says a free subscribe makes no charge. We are not adopting the $0.10 figure. |
What is actually discreet
Discreet, in the documents, means the fan payment is a charge by the platform in USD, not an invoice titled with the creator and the content. It does not mean the word OnlyFans is guaranteed to be absent. If someone can read your statement, assume they can search whatever name is printed. Fenix International resolves to OnlyFans in one search.
The terms also say your bank may charge a currency-conversion fee on top. That fee can be a separate line from your own bank, in the bank’s name, not OnlyFans’.
What this page will not help you do
It will not hide a charge from a joint account holder, and it will not tell you to misdescribe a charge if the bank asks. Virtual-card products that swap in their own merchant name are those companies’ products, not an OnlyFans setting. Paying through a method the help text does not list — PayPal, Apple Pay — is covered on payment methods.
If a line is unfamiliar, match the amount and date to your OnlyFans receipts before you assume fraud. A renewal you forgot is
a cancellation, not automatically a dispute.
Where these figures come from
- Terms of Use: Fenix International Limited operates OnlyFans; fan payments are in USD; banks may add conversion fees.
- Help Center, subscribe and refund articles: a free subscribe makes no charge; paid purchases are charges to the card or wallet.
- Merchant-name roundups (bank-statement explainers, not OnlyFans) disagree on ONLYFANS.COM versus Fenix International versus a short “OF.” No OnlyFans page we could cite picks one string.
