Hidden Messages on OnlyFans: Where They Go and How to Get Them Back

Hiding a chat is not the same as deleting it, and OnlyFans has not published a help article that names an Unhide control. The consistent report from people who hid one by mistake is that there is no hidden folder: you open that person’s profile and start the message thread again.

TL;DR

  • We could not cite an official help article that documents a Hidden inbox or an Unhide button.
  • Users who hid a thread describe the same recovery: open the person’s profile and message them. The earlier messages come back with the thread. There is no separate list of hidden chats.
  • If you do not remember the username, that path stops. OnlyFans does not publish a search of hidden chats.
  • A message the other person hid on their side is their screen. You cannot unhide it for them.
  • If the thread was a purchase and it is simply gone, email support@onlyfans.com from the account email. Do not pay a third-party “recovery” tool.

What we will not pretend: some pages invent an eye icon and an Unhide label. We did not find that label in an OnlyFans help article. If your app-like browser shortcut shows one, use it. If it does not, the profile path above is the one people actually describe.

Hiding is not blocking, and not deleting the account

Blocking is a separate control. Hiding a chat, on the reports, takes it out of your list without erasing the relationship. Deleting your account is permanent and follows the creator-or-fan clock in the terms: how to delete an OnlyFans account. Paid messages you bought are also covered by the non-refund rule: cancellation and refunds.

Nobody should use a “message recovery” download. The official product is the site. There is no official app that would have a different inbox: is there an OnlyFans app.
