OnlyFans 1099 Form: Where to Find It and What to Do With It

OnlyFans tells US creators to look in Banking for a digital 1099, and to expect a paper copy at the address on the W-9. Whether a form is issued at $600 or at the IRS’s 2026 threshold of $2,000 is a live mismatch. Either way, the form is a report, not the tax.

TL;DR

  • Help text: if you are a US resident and earned and withdrew more than $600 in the previous tax year, you receive a 1099.
  • A copy is filed with the IRS and mailed to the address on your W-9. Update the W-9 by 31 December of that tax year if the address or tax details changed. After that, corrections go to support@onlyfans.com.
  • Download the digital copy from the Banking page. The privacy policy lists both a 1099-NEC and a 1099-MISC as forms OnlyFans may hold for US creators. Read the form you were actually given.
  • The IRS payer threshold for 1099-NEC payments made in 2026 is $2,000. OnlyFans’ help text still says $600. You report the income either way.

Where it is

  1. 1
Before the year endsW-9 in Banking

The form OnlyFans issues uses the details on that W-9. The help text gives you until 31 December of the tax year to update it.

  2. 2
After the yearBanking, then the tax document

OnlyFans says the digital copy is on the Banking page. Guides that mention a “Statements” or “Tax documents” label are describing the same area; the label on your screen wins.

  3. 3
    Also by postThe W-9 address

A paper copy is mailed there. If you moved and did not update the W-9 in time, the envelope went to the old address. Email support@onlyfans.com to correct the issued form.

What to do with the number

You do not fill the 1099 in. OnlyFans does. You check the name, taxpayer ID, and amount, then report the income on your return. For a self-employed creator that is generally Schedule C, plus self-employment tax. The wider frame is OnlyFans taxes.

Reconcile the form to your Statements. The help text’s trigger is “earned and withdrawn,” which is not identical to “every dollar fans paid” and not identical to “every dollar that cleared pending but stayed on the platform.” If the form and your own total differ, do not invent a plug number. Ask a tax professional, and ask OnlyFans if the form itself is wrong.

If there is no form

  • Under OnlyFans’ published rule, a year at or under $600 earned and withdrawn does not produce a 1099. The IRS 2026 payer threshold is $2,000. A missing form is not a finding that the income is exempt.
  • A missing W-9 can also mean no form, or a form with backup withholding. The tax policy says a required tax ID that you never submit can block withdrawals.
  • The IRS still expects the income on the return. Your Statements are the record you keep.
This is general information about a US information return. It is not a filing position. Read the disclaimer and talk to a tax professional.

Where these figures come from

  • Help Center, “How do I request a 1099 Form?” and “How do I update my 1099 Form?” (wording dated 25 November 2025).
  • OnlyFans tax policy, US section: more than $600 earned and withdrawn; mail plus Banking download.
  • OnlyFans privacy policy, financial-data category: W-9, 1099-MISC, and 1099-NEC listed for US creators.
  • IRS instructions for Forms 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC (revision used for 2026 information returns): at least $2,000 for 1099-NEC payments made in 2026.
